Stan’s business, out of Stoney Creek, Ontario covered the gamut from pin striping cars, trucks and even snowmobile covers, to sign painting and illustration for events like a country fair. These brochures were digitally mastered using GIMP, Inkscape, and Scribus. These are similar to Adobe® Photoshop®, Illustrator®, and InDesign® respectively, but are all open source software packages and all FREE. The calligraphy was authentically created.

Calligraphy Basic Tool Kit
Basic Tool Kit for all members to bring to each Guild meeting inlcude:
• Sketchbook
• Note paper, pencil and eraser
• Nib(s), nib holder and ink or broad edge calligraphy marker
• A fine point marker
• Ruler, bone folder
• Scissors, cutting mat and knife
• Glue stick
• Tools or supplies you may find useful depending on the meeting topic and Guild information
