These brochures were digitally mastered using GIMP, Inkscape, and Scribus. These are similar to Adobe® Photoshop®, Illustrator®, and InDesign® respectively, but are all open source software packages and all FREE. The calligraphy was authentically created.
For more information on the creation of the brochure, kindly contact Steve Czajka.
I absolutely love what was done with creating this brochure. Your calligraphy and Mark’s looks outstanding here. The brochure has that nice old authenticity appearance, and represents our guild with class.Very very nice!!Thanks to both of you for creating this.Best, DianeCalligraphy by Diane
If you’re reading this and wondering about joining the guild, I would urge you to come to a meeting and see what we’re all about! This will be my 3rd year as a member of the CAGT, and I can attest that the experienced calligrapher members are welcoming and encouraging, even if you’re a beginner. Meetings are interesting and varied, and you can take advantage of classes that are offered at a discount. In joining the CAGT, you must also join Neilson Park Creative Centre, a real bonus if you decide to join other resident groups, or would like to display your work as part of art shows that the centre sponsors.Super job on the brochure, Mark and Steve!
This brochure is a great calling card for the Calligraphic Arts Guild of Toronto. It tells you everything you need to know at a glance. I hope to receive many queries about our classes and activities as a result of this outstanding, informative communications vehicle. Great job Steve and Mark.
